What parts do X mas tree oil and gas include?

The X mas tree oil and gas is composed of a casing cross-over spool, wellhead assembly, casing valve, casing spool, master valve, production valve, wax removal valve, and valve accessories.

1. Tubing Spool

 

The tubing spool is made of a φ73mm oil pipe with an outer φ89mm pipe jacket. Steam or hot water (oil) circulates in the annulus between the pipes for insulation purposes (an uninsulated circulating design can also be used without the outer jacket). A flowing well serves two purposes: firstly, to run tools in and out for wax removal before and after, as well as to melt the wax scraped off onto the wax scraper; secondly, to run tools in and out for various tests and well tests. An electrical submersible pump well, also serves two purposes: firstly, to facilitate running tools in and out when testing the flowing and static pressures; secondly, for running tools in and out and venting during wax removal operations.

2. Rubber Flanged Valve (with a X mas tree oil and gas)

 

(1) To shut off downhole pressure when the wax scraping tool rises to the tubing spool;

(2) Closing the rubber flanged valve can determine if the downhole tool has risen to the tubing spool, preventing it from falling into the well;

(3) In a pumping well, this rubber flanged valve must be closed before adding sucker rods.

3. Test Valve (250 valve)

 

This valve connects to the rubber flanged valve to facilitate pressure testing, well testing, etc.

4. Tubing Cross

 

The tubing cross connects the test valve to the master valve and the left and right production wing valves, serving as the necessary flow path for oil production and water well testing.

5. Master Valve

 

The master valve opens and closes the well, and isolates downhole pressure when equipment outside the master valve requires maintenance.

6. Casing Cross

 

The main function of the casing cross is to be the primary hub connecting the tubing and casing strings. It seals the tubing-casing annulus and allows flow splitting. The outside is at casing pressure and the inside is at tubing pressure. The bottom connects to the casing spool.

7. Casing Spool

 

The top of the casing spool connects to the threaded bottom flange of the cross, while the bottom connects to the casing string. The length of the spool can be adjusted based on the well site terrain to raise or lower components as needed during operations.

8. Steel support for the surface and production casing

 

This structural connection between the production casing and surface casing prevents vibration of the X mas tree oil and gas.
