It typically consists of a casing head and a tubing head, which are used to seal the annular space between the wellbore and the casing or tubing. The wellhead also includes valves and fittings for controlling the flow of oil or gas from the well.

Vigor Well Control Equipment
Well control equipment is essential for controlling pressure and flow of fluids in the wellbore, and preventing uncontrolled releases. This equipment includes the blowout preventer (BOP), choke manifold, kill line, and mud-gas separator.
The BOP is a valve system that seals the wellbore in case of a kick or a blowout, while the choke manifold regulates the flow and pressure of fluids from the wellbore to the surface. The kill line connects the choke manifold to the mud pump, allowing pumping fluids into the wellbore to kill it. Lastly, the mud-gas separator separates gas from mud and vents it safely to the atmosphere.
