Vigor Bi-directional Downhole Barrier Valve (Remote Opening)
is usually connected to the bottom of the top packer or top packing assembly and lowered into the well together with the lower completion string to provide a bi-directional barrier, so that the entire completion operation can connect the lower completion to the upper completion. It is suitable for all occasions with isolation requirements, such as: intelligent completion, gravel packing completion, fracturing packing completion, screen alone completion, well abandonment, workover, etc.
Remote-open bi-directional downhole barrier valve is modularly designed and has two opening modes: mechanical opening and remote one-time opening. These two opening modules can be used independently or in combination, and can be selected according to actual well conditions and needs.

Applications
Lubricator Application

And by eliminating the need for conventional surface deployment systems, the valve saves you money, time, and resource allocation.
Wellbore Isolation Application
As an isolation valve, Vigor Remote-open Bi-directional Downhole Barrier Valve provides efficient on/off zonal isolation and differential opening to enable valve operation when pressure across the ball cannot be equalized.
The valve gives you assured downhole shut-in for build-up pressure tests. When open, the valve provides maximized flow area and full-bore access to your lower completion, without the need to pull the diverter plug. The valve's interventionless operation also saves you money, time, and resources while reducing downhole risks.
Well Suspension Application
In well suspension applications, Vigor Remote-open Bi-directional Downhole Barrier Valve provides two remotely operated downhole barriers that also provide full bore access to your lower completion.
This application gives you the ability to perform batch drilling and completion operations with greater efficiency and lower risk. And offshore, the application allows you to deploy your subsea Christmas tree, without the time and expense of a rig.
Structure and Working Principle
- Ball valve sealing mechanism: The ball valve has two states: open and closed
- Mechanical switch mechanism: Lift or lower the BHA, the switch tool acts on the switch sleeve, drives the rotary ball to rotate, and switches the open or closed state of the ball valve
- Remote opening module: Built-in power storage mechanism, pressurize to activate the power storage mechanism, releases kinetic energy to push the switch sleeve downward, switching the ball valve from closed state to open state
