Choke Manifold is a necessary device to control the well kick successfully and execute the pressure technology on an oil/gas well in a drilling operation, the device is adopted to execute the new drilling well's technology of balance pressure, which can avoid pollution of oil layer, improve the speed of drilling and control blowout effectively, maintaining wellhead protection through pressure relief and fluid discharge. It is used to pump kill fluid into the wellbore for well control operations, preventing accidents and ensuring production safety.

Choke manifold function
(1) To carry out well-killing operations through the throttling effect of the choke valve, replacing the contaminated drilling fluid in the wellbore, while controlling the casing head pressure and tubing pressure, restoring the bottomhole pressure control of the drilling fluid column, and preventing a blowout.
(2) To reduce wellhead pressure through the pressure bleeding effect of the choke valve, achieving a "soft shut-in" of the well.
(3) To lower the casing head pressure significantly through the large flow bleeding effect of the bleed-off valve, protecting the wellhead blowout preventer stack."
