Vigor's Landing Nipple provides a locating, locking, and sealing profile for the X lock mandrel. Any number of VG-X Landing Nipple can run in one trip string. The inner bore of the VG-X Landing Nipple consists of one selective profile, one locking groove, and one seal bore. When working, the braking ratchet of the lock mandrel stretches out into the groove of the landing nipple. Blanking plugs, flow control devices and testing instruments can be hung below the lock mandrel.
Landing Nipple provides diverse switching options for tubing. Several Landing nipples could be placed in the production string. Thereby offering an unlimited number of positions for setting and locking surface controls.
Applications
• Land blanking plugs to shut in well or test the production tubing. Land velocity type safety valves.
• Land equalizing check valves.
• Land chokes to reduce surface flowing pressure.
