Description
China Vigor's Polished Rod is manufactured from high-quality alloy steel, which has high tensile strength, smooth surface, and long service life, the Rod is produced with API Specification 11B, and they are available for different material grade options such as AISI 1045, AISI 4140, AISI 8620, SS431 and AISI 1045 with hard metal spraying also available.
China Vigor's Polished Rod with an optimal surface finishing to ensure an appropriate sealing in the stuffing box, rods, and couplings are furnished with cold-formed fully rolled threads. China Vigor's products are available for different material grade options such as AISI 1045, AISI 4140, AISI 8620, SS431, etc. The SS431 polish rod's minimum tensile strength is 793Mpa, on the corrosion resistance and torque strength it also has better performance than AISI 1045 or AISI 4140, it's ideally suited for use with Drive Rods in Progress Cavity Pump(PCP) application. China Vigor Drilling provides diameters of 1-1/8" through 1-3/4″ with length from 8' to 42′.

Product Details
The polish rod has identical sucker rod threads on both ends, with the rod body diameter larger than the maximum outer diameter of the threads on both ends. Its characteristics are that both ends are interchangeable. When one end is severely worn down, the rod can be flipped to continue using.
The upset sucker rod has one upset end with sucker rod threads machined on it, while the other end does not have an upset and is machined with regular threads instead. Its feature is good connectivity performance with the upset threads, but the two ends cannot be interchanged.
Like sucker rods, polish rods are also divided into grades C, D, H, and K for four levels according to different strength and application requirements.
It is made of high-quality alloy steel cold drawn round steel, featuring high strength, good toughness, smooth surface and long service life.
