Vigor Dual Flapper Check Valve provides a means of adding a uni-directional barrier to a BHA. The flappers provide a pressure-tight barrier in one direction, while enabling flow in the opposite direction.
Vigor Dual Flapper Check Valve consists of a two-piece housing assembly that contains two removable flapper cartridges. The flappers are spring loaded in the closed position and are designed to open fully to give a large, uninterrupted bore through the tool.

Vigor Dual-flapper Check Valve is an important component of the standard coiled tubing tool string. It is used to prevent the bottom-hole pressure from surging upward when the string is run in or retrieved, so as to protect the wellhead equipment. The two-stage flapper valves are independent of each other. The rubber sealing rings ensure the sealing of the flapper valves when the bottom-hole pressure is low; when the pressure is high, the rubber compresses, and then metal-to-metal sealing is achieved to withstand high pressure.
During operation, if ball dropping or short rod dropping is required, steel balls or short rods are allowed to pass through from top to bottom.
