The External Slip Connector design provides a simple but effective high torque-thru connection to the Coil, making it ideally suited for operations such as milling. The connector is also fitted with o-ring seals & back-up rings making it suitable for high pressure applications.

Vigor External Slip Connector is connected to the coiled tubing via slip engagement, with the lower thread of the connector linked to the working string.
The connector utilizes a set of buckle slips, which, through a wedging action, cause the slip teeth to bite into the outer wall of the coiled tubing.
The greater the pulling force, the tighter the bite. The cross-embedded design between the lower end of the slips and the upper end of the lower sub prevents the slips from rotating and enables the transmission of large torques.
Vigor External Slip Connector is suitable for string connection in operational conditions such as drilling, milling, downhole reaming, and fishing.
