The TCP technology is a completion method in which the perforating gun is conveyed to a predetermined depth through the tubing to create a connecting hole between the oil layer and the wellbore, allowing oil and gas to flow into the wellbore. This method applies to various types of oil wells, including vertical wells, directional wells, and horizontal wells, and the appropriate perforating technology can be selected according to the geological characteristics of the oil layer and the fluid properties.

WCP is a completion technology that uses cables (or wires) to lower the perforating gun. Compared with traditional tubing conveyed perforating (TCP), WCP provides the advantages of real-time depth control and selectivity, and has lower logistics requirements compared to tubing deployment.
